Migration and Invasion Assays
The Tumor Microenvironment (TME) has a key role in Solid Tumor Therapy Screening. TME-aligned model recapitulates original tumor microenvironment and promotes naïve behavior of tumor cells. Once embedded in this native-like matrix, tumor cells can migrate and invade, crucial steps for solid tumor metastasis in vivo. This assay enables evaluation of drugs that affects migratory capacity of tumor cells. The cell retrieval at the end of invasive process allows full mode of action characterization by FCM.
